Something not working, or a stay rule you cannot find? Here are the usual answers, and a way to reach us if none of them fit.

Get in touch

Email us with your iOS version, the app version (Settings → About) and what you expected to happen. We usually reply within a few days.

How are stay days counted?

Both your entry day and your exit day count as stay days. When one trip ends the same day the next begins, that day counts in both countries. Per-country counting rules are planned for a later version.

The Schengen 90/180 rule

Choose the rolling-window rule type and set 90 days within 180. You can group several countries under one shared limit so a trip through any of them draws down the same allowance.

I am not getting reminders

Reminders are local notifications, so they need notification permission for DaysHere in the iOS Settings app. Check too that the individual reminders are switched on in Settings inside the app, and that the stay you expect an alert for has a deadline within the next 30 days.

Where is my data, and how do I move it?

On your device only. There is no account and no cloud copy. Deleting the app deletes your history, and it does not transfer to a new phone. Import and export are on the roadmap.

A country or rule is missing

The custom rule type lets you set any day limit and period yourself. If a country needs a preset that is not there yet, tell us which one and we will add it.

Important

DaysHere helps you track your travel days, but it does not provide legal or immigration advice. Visa rules change and depend on your nationality, so always confirm with official government sources before you travel.
